Our vision is to create an organization that is ran and led by individuals with social barriers that in turn offer hope, training, and support to their peers. GP allows them to redirect their lives and become contributing members of our community.
Our mission is deeply rooted in the work of Jesus which calls us to meet the basic wellness needs of the communities we serve in a practical way. We strive to create a world where everyone can find a second chance despite their current and past life experience.
Our board and staff at God’s Pantry strives to build trust by accountability and transparency. Below are established policies that guide our day-to-day operations.
God’s Pantry and the provided services for all of its programs does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, age, national origin (ancestry), immigration status, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status, in any of its activities or operations. We are committed to providing a welcoming environment for all members of our staff, clients, volunteers, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” (Mark 12:31)
“And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” (Micah 6:8)
“To do what is right and just is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.” (Proverbs 21:3)
