MEET TIVIA

Tivia started working at God’s Pantry as a trainee last month. She was recently released from prison after serving just shy of 30 years. While incarcerated, Tivia became a Domestic Violence and Grief Counselor, which sparked a passion in her. She was recently chosen by the Department of Rehab to participate in their training to become a Drug & Alcohol Counselor and is hoping to work as a counselor in the future.

Tivia is a humble worker, which she attributes to knowing that “it’s bigger than me”, as well as pursuing God’s greater purpose for her life. Her encouragement for those struggling and facing challenges is to not be so hard on themselves and to adopt an attitude of gratefulness.
